I read the sticky on the replacing the inner tie rods. How do I know what one I have. Metal to netal or metal to plastic? I did 1st diagnosis method with the engine off and got no noise. But if I fire the engine up I get a small pop while doing the same action. I do have some play in the 3 and 9 position with the front end jacked up. But I'm not sure if it's within spec for replacement.
