incorrect CCRM? cooling fan problem!

i recently bought a 92 sho. the guy i bought it from said the ect was bad and had wired the cooling fan to run when the key is on. i replaced the ect and the fan still doesn't run. now from what i've read, my car should have the ccrm with the letter "M". the one installed right now is a "K". im guessing that it came from a non-sho taurus at a junkyard. does anyone know what is different between the "M" and "K".

The K is a non SHO unit, I don't even know if it is a Taurus unit. I would ditch it ASAP.

You need a M unit period. And ditch that K in the trash before you fry some wires.
