I'm on a quest.....

A quest to rip my hood apart that is!

I've located a welder that will cut a hole in my hood and put in a air scoop/vent. I've also found a painter that will paint the hood cheap.

Now if I could just get Kirk to email me back I've sent you two emails buddy! Get with it!

Any ideas on where to get the air intake to put in the hood would be appreciated.

I've checked 5 junkyards/salvage yards and nothing.

Closest I've come is a early 1990's Lumina Z34 with vents in the hood. Only problem is they are a bit big and sideways for air intake.

Any other ideas? I don't want a huge racing scoop...just something subtle and really good looking like Kirk's got.

Kirks scoops came off a T-Bird turbocoupe. Your body guy better have his $hit wired tight to pull something like this off though wink

Found one!

Going to get the hood for a 1987 or 88 turbo coupe tomorrow morning. The guy at the yard said the vents are in good shape.

LASTSHO, you do realize now that you have a connection, i am going to have to take a trip down to Fairbault for another visit

Well all I can say is that its gonna look SCHWEET!

The air intakes are in great shape.

Can't wait to get them in!
