I've said it before and I'll say it again: Not coming in a SHO is NO EXCUSE!!!

I hitched with Kirk to Indy in '05 after my '97 got rear-ended two weeks before the convention. Still had a great time. Probably had a better time without worrying about getting the car ready for the car show, etc.

Coming without a SHO doesn't mean you can't have a good time! :bonk:

It's sad that we even have to do this chris. The event is so fun its hard to understand why we have to BEG people to attend. In the end its their loss. :(

Ian, Thomas from Kitchener is going as well. I will go if I don't have a job then, but that's up in the air right now.

if it were in pa/jersey area I bet a bunch of people would go, there were 25 or so at carlisle this past weekend. Id be there if my sho actually worked:frown:

This is the same line of crap we hear every year. After the 05 convention a bunch of people were crying that it wasn't near them. A member posted a picture of an 80 year old man that drove his ATX from California to Indianpolis for the convention. Everyone whines and cries and wants it closer to them, and when it finally is, they have another excuse as to why they arent there.

That was taken from the other thread. It's so true... Come on guys, so many of you were wanting the convention to be in the NE, now only one is going because it's more than a few hours away?

It'd be awesome to see more support from you guys on the east coast. :)

Oh, come on Kris, if you end up taking a new job, just explain to them up front that you have a "family commitment" out-of-town the week of July 16-20 and will not be in that week!

Or, just plan on relaxing and taking the next 6 weeks off before jumping into a new job! :thumb:

Well you know my deal.

This foot really is hurting though, I should get it taken care of soon.... Wonder if Mel still has that cane, I could probably use that in place of a casted up foot. :)
