Hey everyone! Figured I'd re-introduce myself lol. Left the SHO game back in 2009, and never thought I'd end up back in one again (this was before there was any solid confirmation that the SHO would in fact definitely be returning). I had a very modified, but naturally aspirated 92 SHO that I built over the course of a few years. Was an absolute blast of a car, but it got totaled when someone hit me head-on back in '08. Got into a '96 SHO immediately after that, which I left stock. Very comfortable car, loved it. Decided I wanted an SUV so I sold my '96 back in '09 and haven't been in the SHO game again until around 2 months ago. Picked up a 2016 with the Driver Assist package. Been doing a bit of work to it, and have a few more things on the list to do before I can leave it alone for a bit. Definitely my favorite SHO so far.

Had to go thru updating my profile on here, removing my old AOL Instant Messenger screen name and such.... since no one uses that anymore lol. Cleaned up my old signature and avatar....... was funny going back and seeing what I was doing 10+ years ago.

Been thru a few other fun cars over the years.... built, Procharged '08 Pontiac G8 GT that put down some really good power, just recently sold my beloved '05 twin turbo GTO that I've owned since '06 and only put 27k miles on it when I sold it. Bought the '16 SHO to just be a peppy daily driver, to share DD responsibilities with my Navigator that I don't drive as much anymore.

I did manage to find an old thread of mine with some parts I was selling off my '92 after it was totaled. There was a bit of stock stuff I was selling too, but you can see a lot of the goodies, if you're an old school SHO fan:

If you've been on here for a looooong time I've possibly chatted with you at some point or another on here. Will be cool to potentially see some active usernames on here that I remember for over 10 years ago. Does Bizzy still run this forum?

Looking forward to talking with some of you all on here. I know most people use Facebook groups now versus forums, and that's where I'll probably still spend most of my time, but I'll be sure to pop in here once in a while :)

Welcome back. Bizzy jumped ship from running this place several years ago. Check out the GenIV section for your vehicle. Lots of good information and a few arguments here and there. Not my favorite thing (or my least favorite when I'm bored) but it beats actual riots.

Welcome back to the SHO. I was also a owner of a 92 SHO in the early 2000's. Sold it, and had two twin turbo Camaros along the way. I didn't pick up another SHO until 2018. Felt good to get back into a SHO. Since you have 2016 I would replace all the fluids. Also the first couple of post in the thread below will give you some good information going forward with your SHO.

Oh damn thank stinks, Bizzy was super helpful! She also welded my diff pin on my '92 haha :) I remember your forum name from many years back Luigi, cool to see you here again!

Thanks for the link SM105k! Looks like a super-helpful thread I'll have to dig into soon. Already have done a little work to this car and already familiar with a decent bit on it, but certainly looks like there's a ton more pertinent info there!

Zoom, looks like we joined this forum around the same time, 15+ years ago! Wow that's some time ago! Glad to hear you still have your '92!

Zpak lol! I actually decided I needed to get rid of the ollllldd Green Day album cover I was using as an avatar 10+ years ago, and picked that one from a Google search really quick haha. Very similar pic and cropping!

SHOCH haha I imagine so. Seemed like this board lacked stupidity back in the day, hopefully, for the better part, that's still true. All you see on Facebook groups anymore is people asking questions about things that are in their owners manuals half the time.

Thanks for welcoming me back everyone!!

Beth was very much more involved in all aspects of the community. It might have been part of the reason to step back when she did. Alot of the arguing was considerably less.
Over time the amount of owners and posts were also less. The new group has some life in it and ingenuity too. Some of the personality things just pop up now and then. Not a big deal.
