I have an intermittant ignition problem that is becoming not-so-intermittant. Sometimes at a steady state cruise (~2500 rpm), the engine will skip a beat or two then run normally. It used to happen once every few months, but now it seems to happen nearly every time I drive it. Today it stalled at a light twice. The second time I had to crank it two or three times before it would fire. Does anyone know what is likely the cause? DIS, crank or cam position sensors, coils, plug wires? What ever it is, it's not triggering the "Check Engine" light.

I'd say check the CPS. When mine first did that it felt like a stutter while driving. As the days went on the stutter turned into stalling. At first it would start right back up....near the end it would take close to 30 minutes for it to start again.
