Hello I had my serpentine belt broke and the reason why is the idler pulley completely seized up.. I went to local auto part stores and got the new pulley but it's not the same... The pulley itself is smaller and the inside diameter is also smaller so the metal spacer part that came out of the old bearing won't fit into the new one..

Where can I get the right part? Anyone have a part number? Thanks

Well I guess that's where I'll have to get it from . Was hoping to get it locally from a parts store.. I love my sho and it's been a great car for about 7 years put over 80k miles on her. For a $800 auction car couldn't ask for a better deal..but I sure hate fixing it!! Thanks for the reply

SHOSource is the best place to get these odd sized bearings. I've purchased mine through them with no problems. You can get them with a pulley or just the bearing. Its not hard to press them out with a vice or press, but getting the whole pulley makes the jobs simple.

Make sure your belt line (all pulleys) are clean and free of grease / oil and try this pulley for the three idlers:
ULTRA-POWER 36274

It is the same bolt size and outer diameter and will work (I did my research to find these and I am running three of them right now) the only problem I have had since it is a 5 groove width pulley and not a 6 groove width is that if power steering fluid makes its way onto the drive belt / pulleys, it will cause the belt to be thrown!

I would have went with the SHOSource bearings / pulleys if I could have afforded them!
