When i changed the intake and valve covers and forgot to clean the IAB valve. Could this be causing my hesitation?? If so, is there anyway i can take it off without taking the intake off. thanks in advance.

Yeah, it's easy. Go to shotimes.com under care and feeding. There's a writeup there of how to remove and clean it. It's held on by two bolts. No need to remove the intake.

Chris where do you experience hesitation? I would think maybe there is a vacuum leak to look for too as it seems to be related to opening up the top.

You can remove the IAB without taking off the intake. Unplug the electrical connector, remove the upper bolt/screw, push/rotate the unit foreward toward the cabin to get better access to the lower bolt and remove. To reinstall put the lower bolt on first most of the way, rotate and line up the unit and gasket, tighten the top and tighten the last bit of the bottom.

the hesitation is more when you shut the car off. After you shut it off, whether it be for five minutes or over night, when you start it again, it hesitates bad . After you go through the gears once or twice, the hesitation is very minimal but you can still feel it. It usually occurs at about 3000K rpms. It's getting annoying.

Maybe the fuel line isn't holding pressure, vacuum leak, or a tps problem. The IAB malfunctioning would probably affect driving around stop and go. At idle or decelerating toward idle.

it all most feels like something ins't opening. the car sounds like it's trying to go but you dont feel anything, and then all of the sudden, you get thrown back into the seat once the secondaries open. It's like once they open, it clears whatever the problem is until the next time you shut it off. I'm puzzled. Greg and doug ran codes for me. They only pulled a 556 and a 557 and both were stored codes. Like i said, i'm puzzled.
