I was taking it off because I was disassembling my airbox et al, and a bit of thread from my shirt caught on one of the poles going vertically on the underside of the MAF. I didn't realize it in time and I pulled it a bit and the node between the poles move a tad, so it's not completely straight anymore. It is still contacting each pole, but I don't know if it is at it's end or not...

I guess you just gotta plug it back in and see if it works. I would be inclined to say you should start looking for a new one, though.

If it doesn't work, let me know. I've got a couple of extra MAF's w/sensors laying around here.

How do I know if it works or not? Will the car not start up, or will it just run funny?

If you have any problems it will more than likely just idle funny. Give it a try, I don't think it will hurt anything.

Well, I know it's broken now, I got code 26 which means that the MAF is out of range.
