just realized my join date was 2002. and i owned my 89 for a year before i joined this site. i've owned a sho of some kind or another for 11 YEARS!. with non gaps. i don't know how to feel about that...

Now with James out of the game, I think I am the current top idiot as far as number of SHO's owned - somewhere around 20, give or take 10. Current crop is two gutted track cars and a custom body/paint 91, and an 89 that is waiting (patiently, as in 7 years and counting) for a complete restoration.

First SHO was a stock 89 sometime in 1999. SHO's have been my daily driver ever since. Heck, the only other vehicles I have owned in the time since were a Honda 919, and an F250.

I wouldn't do one. If I wanted a semi-serious track car, it wouldn't be FWD. Think in terms of "used 911"........
