I just put 17 inch Estrella rims on my car. They look awesome. I just put new 99 SHO rims and new tires on my car about a month ago but had the opportunity to purchase these rims at a decent price. I ordered 245/45/17 BFGR Comp TA ZR's and they look great. I sold my other set of rims to a member on this forum who has a gen II.
Check out the pics and tell me what ya think. They are on my picturetrail in album 3 labeled New SHO pics with 17's...

Hope you all like, cause I sure do!! thumbs_u

Ruined a set of SVT because of those tires. the rest of the time they were fantastic

Speaking of snow, I put them on Sat. morning and then drove an hour south of to visit family. It started to sleet, and snow and I came home on roads that were one lane with 4-5 inches ice/snow accumulation. They drove pretty well. I was happy to make it home safe. Never again though. The minivan would have been alot safer. Passed the test and they won't get anymore.

as far as lowering the car, I think that will look even better as well, but i am taking things one step at a time. I think my wife is getting ready to divorce me because I spend more time/money on my SHO than her. UH OH, time to buy her flowers or something  wink

Definite thumbs_u here Mike!
How wide are those wheels? I was thinking of going 245/45/17 when my Dunlops wear out. My wheel is 7" wide though. I was told by some that it would fit fine but wanted to get more opinions.

Wuzzzer,

they are 245/45/17
Go with a 245, they will fit a 7 inch wide. Shouldn't be a problem at all. These tires were a great price through tirerack BFGR comp ta zr's for 99 buck each with a 50.00 rebate from BFGR.

I really like the tires a lot. They look good and for the price they are unbeatalble.

By the way, we need to get together and head to lastsho's to do the catectomy. Let me know!!

LOL, that sounds good to me. Some of the guys from the Twin CIties are looking to set up another GTG. LastSHO is going to put a post on here soon. But I may just do it to find out what works for everyone. The last one we had was fun but the weather sucked. This time we may have to go to a park and Grill and drink and look at cars etc. Let me know if you are interested.
