I am pretty sure its a bad flex pipe. My exhaust is extreamly loud, I looked and felt around all over the y-pipe and catback but couldnt find a leak. The sound is coming from between the real manifold and before the first cat. Any thoughts on what els it could be. thanks :thumb:

Are you talking about a "miss" from the exhaust? If so, check to make sure your 02 sensors are tightened down, not working theirself out. Another is to check the y-pipe to exhaust manifold, and y-pipe to catback gasket.

It very well could be that. If you lay on the ground when its running you should be able to hear abouts where its coming from. You could also feel around the dough nut and tell also. Or gasket if you have a flex pipe.

Do you have a flex pipe on there now? If not all you prolly need is a new dough nut gasket.

yes, its a ****** gasket. an exhaust leak can be seen by finding black soot on the exterior of the exhaust pipe.
