Huge Brake Problem

My brake pedal will get rock hard while i'm driving and the brakes will become locked up. Midas told me that it make be the brake booster. Does anybody have any other ideas. And if not does anyone have instructions on how to change a brake booster?

Others have noted problems with the rubber flex lines (at each wheel) getting swollen and baically cutting off fluid flow. Might be your issue.
