Gear ratios are different on the PP as well, you can see those using a tuning device, or even Forscan Lite (maybe Torque Pro too). Or register at etis.ford.com and look up details using the VIN.

Do you know what the gear ratio is for a non-PP and what it is for a PP?

I'd check for the oil coolers. I believe PP cars have one for the trans and PTU. If you have those, most likely it's a PP. Also, if you have auto cruise it's not a PP. The auto cruise radar unit is in the same place they'd mount the trans cooler. Since two objects can't occupy the same space at once the auto cruise wasn't offered in the PP units.

Oiler coolers were not available until 2013, however you are correct in that the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) was not available with the PP option in 2011 (or perhaps ever).

No ACC ever with the PP option from factory. PTU fluid and engine oil coolers with 2013+ PP option. Auxiliary transmission fluid cooler also added in 2013, not sure if PP only.

* No Alcatara steering wheels in 2011 so that won't tell you anything.
* My non-PP also came with 20" 5 spoke wheels so that's not a sure fire way either.
* If it has ACC it's definitely non-PP. But vice versa doesn't mean much.
* Shifting into 3rd by 60 shows the different ratios and would mean it's PP.
* The best way I've found is if you can turn AdvanceTRAC OFF you have the PP. If you cannot turn it off, you have non-PP. To test you have the car running and in Park. Put your foot on the brake and hold. Then press and hold the the traction control button for about 5 seconds. If PP the gauge cluster will say AdvanceTRAC OFF. If non-PP the gauge cluster won't do anything (it might say TRACTION CONTROL OFF just like if you simply pressed the button and released).
