I am going ot change my ACT today and I found that I have to real easy way to get the mounting ring (thing that holds it to the airbox) off the old sensor. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I used a pair of vice grips to hold one part and used some pliers to turn the other. Remember the computer will flag this sensor as bad (even when it's still good) when you run the self-test with ambient temps under like 40 or 50F, IIRC.
Ahh great advice! I forgot I even had vise grips... Yeah I know about the code tripping in cold weather. I felt it was time to change it. It's cheap and I was bored
