Yea so I was looking up some upgrades and came across the Keytone Powder Coating: H-Brace Control Arm

In their description it reads "Drive over a large *** hole and you could possibly torque the box and cause permanent damage to the frame." and "it also greatly reduces the possibility of causing irreversible damage to the main structure of the car from sudden impact to the rear wheels. "

Well I remembered about 4 weeks ago I hit a large block going about 35-40mph from the median where a car was stuck, plus it was raining. I checked under neath where it hit (the rear passenger seat, someone was sitting there) I didnt see any large dents, but you would've sworn that I hit a land mine.

I guess my question is, is there anyway to test the integrity (SP) of the frame? I dont know if the car was lifted or not, but I hit it hard. I'd like to stop putting money into this car if its irreversibly damaged.

is the alignment still in check ?

if the alignment is fine, and you dont see any large dents uner the car, theres nothing to worry about.

the only other thing you could have done isrip out some spot welds, but to do that something would have to be dented

actualy .... not dented ....something would have to be mangled like a rabbit that went through a meat grinder

what u most likely heard, if theres no underbody damage, was the tire going over the blockand the suspesnsion bottoming out on the way over
