hello again everyone. today i went down to a custom car shop on my lunch brake and got some quotes on NOS. i can get an adjustable kit from 60 up to 150 for $500 including a bottle. first off, is this a good deal as far as price is concerened?? second, how much nos can a bone stock sho handle without being blown up. i have heard that 75 and 100 r safe. the only think i have done to it right now is the bigger clutch, from 9.25 to 9.75 i think. my sho is an 89 with 92000 miles on her. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanx

Shawn,
There is a good website on using nitrous with the sho. Go to www.n2osho.com. If your kit is a dry Zex, you should be okay with shots up to 90. Anything over that, you are playing with fire. Just make sure you also have your fuel pump beefed up higher than stock. I am installing a 190lph one this weekend to make sure I don't fry my rings! The price isn't too bad, especially if he will throwa bottle fill in there as well. I purchased mine off of ebay for only $375 and still looks new! Good luck!

yo undertow, i live in ashland which is in between wooster and mansfield. i have a few mods on the TA, a little computer work, shift kit, ram air kit. the ram air kit draws air from underneath as opposed to havin the ram air hood. i like it because i am into sleepers (how convienent to have a SHO too) so the car looks like a stock TA. in fact, i have some people ask if it is a v-6, i just smile and rev up my motor to about 5k and let my 3 inch pipe exiting through flowmasters answer the question.

what is good is that the mustang fuel pumps will work on the sho fuel cell. Just have to change out the sock on the end of the intake assembly for the fuel pump. You can get it at www.spmotorsports.com, or just look up "Walbro fuel pump" on a variety of parts sites. Good luck. BTW it has to be from a "fox body" mustang. 87-93.
