As per the Ford manual:

1. Remove intake air duct assembly.
2. Using a suitable tool, remove accelerator cable snap-in nylon bushing from pedal arm.
3. Remove accelerator cable housing from dash panel by removing two screws retaining accelerator cable to dash panel and pushing outward from inside passenger compartment.
4. Remove speed control cable from accelerator cable. On 3.0L and 3.2L SHO, unwind cable core wire from pulley and slide cable end fitting out of slot in pulley.
5. Disconnect accelerator cable at throttle body throttle lever by inserting a screwdriver between accelerator cable and throttle lever and giving a twist.
6. Remove accelerator cable bracket retaining screw. Remove accelerator cable from accelerator cable bracket slot.
7. Install in reverse order.

The problem is they are absolete and no one is making aftermarket ones as far as I know.
The only thing that I can say is that the used one was in excellent shape and it works great.

I ran into a guy locally who had Lokar make him a custom cable for his 92 SHO. Cost was $200, IIRC.

It is also ADJUSTABLE. wink
