Hey guys - I read on here a post about filling the MTX tranny - It had said "radiator side, half way down, and you can stick a 3/8 wrench in it". OK - am I missing something? The only thing I can see is a plug with an electrical connector on the top of the tranny. I thought the MTX tranny was the same from 89 to 95?

You have too look on the front SIDE of the tranny. You don't use a wrench rather than the square end of an extension.

The transmission is in front of the driver, the plug is in the middle of the front side of the transmission.

It's hard to get a funnel there. The easiest thing to do is to either use a hand-pump with a hose or a hose on the end of the funnel. Fill until a little runs out of the fill hole.

If it's never been serviced, you may want to pump out (or drain, if a drain plug has been installed) the existing fluid before putting new stuff in.
