I have an '89 SHO and I have a bad leak where the metal connects to the rubber hose on the Suction Manifold & Tube assembly. I work at a shop (not a mechanic though) and our service writer was unable to find one ANYWHERE. We couldn't even find a Part# from Ford to Google. That being said I figured I would give you guys a shot.
Does anyone know the Ford part number for the Suction Manifold & Tube Assy? Or does anyone know where I could maybe find one?
I do know of a place that will make me one, but I'd like to try and find one first of course.

You're a couple of weeks too late. Saw a NOS one on Ebay but it sold.

Thats the A/C Accumulator hose.

1989-1993 Everco #4242
1994-1995 Four seasons #55641

89-93 SHO's have the fitting for R12 and the 94-95 have R134 Fittings

I may be wrong but some 1993 sho's may have had 134 from the factory and not r12. I know my old 93 taurus GL had R12

Yes, but I do not need the A/C Accumulator hose.

My leak is in the hose connecting to the A/C Accumulator hose assembly on the low side.
It's called the Suction Manifold & Tube Assembly as stated in my original post.
It connects directly to the Accumulator line, bends straight upward and curves
into the compressor.

You can buy adapters for the fittings if you need to, so either part will work.

Ah, I know which one you're talking about. Take your existing one to a place that fabricates hydaulic lines. If the metal isn't rusted to ****, they can reuse it and rebuild the line with new rubber fit on to it. I did that on my 95's. Found an old NAPA that'd been around since the 50s and had a shop in the back. They charged me $55.

I'll probably take it to a shop and get one fabricated using mine hopefully. That seems to be my best bet.
Thanks guyshttp://shoforum.com/images/smilies/sthanx.gif
