Horn sounds strange

My horn doesnt sound right, it sounds like its dying, lol Every time i beep the horn i laugh my a$$ off....what could cause this??

Replace the horns. There are two, a low note and a high note.

They are dying....

Often, one of the two horns will die leaving you with a single note that sounds downright pathetic. A new generic replacement set can be had in most autoparts stores in the $12-$18 range.

FWIW, since you're in the 'rust belt' expect some resistance removing the horns and bracket. I would recommend using a wire brush to clean the rust off the bracket at all of the fastener points (down to clean metal) when re-installing to ensure good ground contact.

This one time, i took my friends truck and threw it into a puddle (she let me, so i take no responsibility) and now her horn sounds funny. Maybe you ran the car into some deep water?
