Hood strut relocation hitting strut tower

Well as the title states I installed the hood strut relocation kit on my '92 MTX and the braket is contacting the strut tower. I bought the kit from SHO sourse and followed the supplied instructions. I only have the driver side installed since I have a carbon fiber hood on but I did try installing the passenger side with the same result. Anyone else run into this problem?

Maybe you should contact SHO Source.

Yeah, I'd call them and ask about it. IIRC there is a specific way to mount them, and if you do it a different way it won't work. I think you might've done it that other way. But, a few minutes on the phone with them should clear it right up.
