How do you remove the hydraulic hood holder thingys?

There might be a clip that you can unclip. Look at it, it can only come off one way.

theres a clip at the top that holds it in place. its no fun trying to get it off. i used a flat head screw driver but put ur hand over it cause when it comes off itll go flying. then the one on the firewall isnt any easier, u have to hold up the tab and try to slide the clip off the pin.
