high temp guage/cold intake

ok i just got home and its dark out so i cant check it out to see wtf is up but i have na odd situation for you guys. i got home and the temp guage was freakin pinned it was like straight up. so out of curiosity i popped the hood and the intake manifold was nice and cool...wtf? figured id ask you guys what you thought before i head out and diagnose it tomorrow when its light out.

Air pocket in the system? Or perhaps you have a bad sensor.
