high RPM knocking rod bearing

once this happens what is the chanches of just replacing the bearings?
is it too late or bearings will cure it? I just put in a LPM and tested out 8000 rpm 2x and the knock was obvious, did 8000 again and knock was now just above idle, Im looking for past experiences with other SHO owners.

i dont have an lpm but i have a chip and rev my car like that racing a 01 gsr, he kept wanting to go again insisting he can win 2time a loss on him anyways after that i went home and had a knock and was very upset cause i know i reved the pis out of her atleast 2twice.come to find out after being scared a half a day i found a very loose spark plug and it went away!check around maybe youll get lucky!
