Okay, went and picked up my car yesterday!! The low beams work great, but when I switch them to high, they just go out. I did read some other posts about the multiswitch function, and possibly a fuse. I can check the fuse, but what is the multiswitch function? Thanks for any help.

The turn signal stalk.

Remove the column shroud and use a t-15 to remove the 3 torxhead screws. Unplug the Multi-function Switch and remove it.

Dissassemble and fix, or simply replace it with a known good unit.

Picked mine up off the ground under a 95 Windstar in the junk yard. It was $2.25 and has been great for $50,000 miles.
