hi what would happen with out maf

hi some of you might know that my car right now is in pretty bad shape.My friend has a sho and i plan on giving hims some of my mods what would happen if i put a cone filter over a the pipe without the maf. So what im saying is you all know the stock rubber pipe i plan on geting a 4 in reducer and puting it over the pipe and runing the car without the maf what would happen? is that good or bad ? please help!! thanks

You have to run the car with the MAF on there. Otherwise the car can't meter the air that's coming in. Find another solution on "upgrading" your air intake.
