hey is there a way to adjust the clutch cable?

hey guys is there a way to?

heres the deal...when the car is off the trans goes into gear fine but when running it has a lil trouble and it a lil hard to shift into second sometimes

is this the clutch or something else?

I don't own an MTX, but I think if you pull up on the clutch pedal and hear a 'click' or multiple 'clicks' then it is adjusting the cable. Otherwise with that mileage, you might be looking at needing a clutch.

Yes to adjust the clutch you just pull up on the pedal. Is the pedal fairly hard to push down? or is is real easy? it sounds like the fingers are weak on the PP due to the TOB wearing on it.

i pulled up on the pedal and i did not hear anything

it is fairly hard to push but not crazy but much harder then my nice gm hydrolic haha

Yes definatly sounds like a clutch time. A new one will just fall to the floor you wont even believe the difference

do you guys recomened getting a rebuilt clutch disk and HD PP i ahve seen them and they are alot cheaper
