The left one is for the electric cutout. The right one is for the SARC disable.
I drilled a hole directly over the "mysterious cold tubing"/back AC duct. I had to modify/raise the switch up.
why is that a bad place to add switches? I've thought of putting a switch there once. found other places to put them though. did you damage the rear A/C duct?
Yeah, that stupid AC duct gets in the way of the wires connected to the switch. I miscut the hole for my antenna switch (which is on the left carpet door area) and had to raise the switch out a bit and then screw it down. Still looks good, thankfully.
Thanks for the compliment...
the left side is where the ac duct runs and the switch would not sit flush because of the wiring on the back side of the switch.
there are plenty of good switches at most local auto parts stores. I get mine at advance auto, they have a good selection of lit and unlit switches. many good places to place them. just whatever you do, make sure you check clearence behind what you plan to mount to. I've made the same mistake before, luckily I was able to fix it though.
