After many posts That have not seen the light of Day I am not visiting this site again. Many of the Posts were related to SHO performance package suspension being the same as 402A. Maybe the Forum Police did not want this to be public knowledge.

Maybe you need to relax and wait for full posting privileges. The mods will take care of it, but they have lives too ya know.

Speaking of the tune.....i have my car tuned now and just recieved the Hen CAI today. Planning on doing the install in the morning. Should I have Livernois check out the tune after the install? Also does it need to be tuned to use the intake?

Can you post pic of kit laid out before install please?
-I guess I'm just a typ old SHO owner! cause for 2K -I'd leave my 10SHO alone & just buy a fair condition 89-95 SHO to play with!

New posters with a low post count get their posts put in a queue hidden from the public. The mods then have to unhide [sic] the post. Not many are mods in this forum, so I am sure it is an oversight.

Not everything on an online forum is the "Forum Police" out to get you

Wow! I'll back Bill 100%! (Nice talking to you today btw) What a PITA this thing was to get on. Sorry Shobill, didnt see your post until I was part way thru the install and even though I thought about it for a minute, couldn't take it back apart for the pictures. The Hennessey website pretty much shows the picture on the way it looks.

Back to the install, still havent gotten the filter to fit and due to frustration took a break for the night. I have a solid 7-8 hours into this thing though. It does seem as though my stuff lines up a little better than Bills did but some other things have really given me grief! The IAT sensor took forever for me to get in and I made the mistake of taking the rear turbo house off the turbo, that led to a couple more hours of work. Besides the fitment, the kit is really nice. Overpriced for sure but nice none the less.

Hooked it up without the box so I could move the car to the garage earlier and you can really hear the turbos sucking air thru the filter! Anyway hoping to finish it up first thing in the am and get to Livernois to double check the tune.

Ill have pics up tomorrow!

Cool kit and thanks for the writeups and pictures from both Bill and Kirk. Yall are all seeming to love the way the kit looks, but my gripe with it is the fact that it's chrome when nothing else under the hood is chrome - it's what we keep trying to get rid of on these cars! How many hp does it add if you do everything but the tune, want to keep it within the warranty as long as possible

I know this is a newbie question but, does doing a tune and a CAI void the factory warranty?

Great write up. One question though, How does it sound? Can you hear intake noise from inside the car? (ok, two questions)

You can definately hear the intake noise inside the car as well as the bovs at least in my case. I listen to the video that Hennessey puts up and my car seems to be much louder, but thats from inside the car. Not too sure what is sounds like on the outside. I like the sound even if it is a little "Fast and Furious".

In addition, I do seem to notice a "seat of the pants" improvement. I think we have the tune ironed out, at least for now. I couldn't believe the number of parameters available in this vehicle! It might be a while before someone really gets the tuning down in these cars. The track opens here, next week! I cant wait!!

$2000.00

You people must be made of money ! $2000.00 for a kit that may be worth $450.00.

By the way the best FoMoCo tuner is a fellow by the name of Torrie McPhail @ Fast Parts Network .

I am running Torrie's tune and it is a great improvement over stock.

Torrie is good people too. He's helped me out with parts and found factory diagrams and such things when I was in a jam. I think he might have been less busy with tuning and other things back then.

Torrie's a great guy has been of great assistance to the SHO community for many years. Although he now puts out what appears to be a great preliminary tune for the 2010 SHO, I wouldn't put him at the top of the Ford tuners list, especially for SHOs. There's folks out there, like Doug Lewis and others, who have been doing tunes for Gen 1-2-3 SHOs for years.

Any reason why you got a Hennessey Kit when you already had a tune ?
