Help with my codes

Ok so i read my codes a couple times today, first off, not knowing that theres a space between numbers! But once i got that figured out i think i narrowed down the codes to the right ones. Im sorry for asking you guys, but it would take me forever to search through code threads to pick out my particular codes. Plus, i dont know what the **** they mean. I still have this hesitation problem, and im hoping one of these will cure it!

542 (O,M) Fuel pump open, bad ground or always on - - Power / Fuel Pump Circuits

117 (O,M) ECT sensor is/was low or grounded - ECT

519 (O) PSP switch/circuit open - PSP

557 (O,M) Low speed pump relay primary circuit fault - Power / Fuel Pump Circuits

173 (R,M) Oxygen sensor not switching - system is or was rich - Single, Right orr Rear HO2S - Fuel control
521 (R) Wheel not turned during test or PSP problem - PSP

116 (O,R) Engine Coolant (ECT) sensor out of range - ECT

I need this put in dumb people words! thanks guys

ECT failed or unplugged.

You need to pull pressure test on the fuel pump , to elaborate....

Dont play with the O2 if the 2 above are not fixed.

Do you think any of these problems could fix my somewhat major lack of power? What would a bad ECT do? Now how do i check the pressure of the pump, do you mean at the fuel rail? Possibly a bad pump all together? by o2, i assume you mean the o2 sensors, or something else? why is it not a good idea to swap those anything but last? Thanks alot cerberus, i appreciate your help with this, and your patience with me.

Yup check at the fuel rail , theres a shredder valve , pressure is same in all the system.

Bad ECT , may tell the computer wrong temperatures , so the computer will ajust air-fuel ratio differantly and other things...wrongfully , cose its not the right temp..Usually you dont loose ALOT of power , but it can be noticable.

Yes o2 , i mean O2 sensors. If you have other issues like these 2 above , you better fix those before , alot of times, other issues cause cause something else to read that something is wrong.

The o2 sensors are the last sensors the car uses (exhaust) so you need to fix the rest first off.

Thank you very much cerberus! I'll go to advance auto tommarow to pick up the right stem to fit the valve on the rail of the SHO. I'll let you know how things go :) I searched advance autos' website (theyre always cheapest up here) and i couldnt find anything for engine coolent temp sensor, is there anything else it could be called beside ECT? i found it on rockauto.

I Changed both ECT sensors today, the temp gauge one just because it was 4 bucks. My fuel pressure tester is for a carb motors and tests the line, not at the rail so i'll have to find one of those. I'm going to see if i can get someone in autotech to do it tommarow. I'll also let you know if the normal first start of the day bog is there after the fresh ECTs'. Alrighty , hope it fixes your thing.

Next time post your issues in the main forums , not the Min sho club. You'll get more ppl getting your post and helping you.

For me , its cause i press 'NEW POSTS SINCE LAST VISIT' so thats why i picked up your post , im not even near minnesota lol.
