I tried the ford pahts network and they didn't have anything, all I need is one set of rear pads, really cheap preferably, one of those OEM internet 50% off deals, again the local ford stealer is a ripoff. thanks.

Gen 2 rear pads are the same as Gen 3 rear pads. F8DZ-2200-AA

If you get the Albany pads from AZ you will need the lifetime warranty many times. :)

Well, technically that would be '93 and up are the same. The '92 Gen 2 has the vented rear brakes with different calipers and pads.

I found them....$18 at Napa. I also had the option of ceramic ones for $80, but I didn't think it was quite worth it.
So, what is the point of a lifetime warranty on the pads? They wear out in no time.....sort of like Sears' lifetime warranty on alignments.....

You might consider spending a little more on pads. I bought a set of loaded reman calipers from Napa and cheaped out on the pads - I got the $12.99 specials. They squeaked so bad I went back and bought a ceramic set for about $60. They were expensive, but at least they eliminated the squeak that was driving me nuts!!!

Speaking of lifetime alignments, I heard Sears doesn't do that any more. Guess who does now? Firestone! Apparently they are trying to attract customers after the whole tire ordeal. A couple people I know have taken their cars there to get aligned at the local shop. They charge about 1.5 times a normal alignment, but say it's guaranteed for as long as you own the car, and you can bring it in ANY time, even if it's only been a week, or you did some work on the suspension - it's all covered. Best of all - they are willing to align it to any spec, and they did a pretty darn good job! thumbs_u
