ok, so the car is driving fine today. all of a sudden i go to the gas station for ice on the way to a bbq and turn the car off, and when i drive out the temp guage is pegged an inch past the "H", the tach doesnt work, the engine fan wont kick on, the o/d button doesnt work, the autolocks on the door dont engage, the check engine light doesnt come on at all either. not during key on or startup. i know i have pressure in the cooling system so i drove it home quite confident the instrumentation was lying to me (although it may have still been a stupid move). what im asking is does this sound sensor related or does anyone think my computer just crapped the bed? i left the battery off so i can try resetting in the morning, and i dont think this is a cps issue since the car runs perfectly fine otherwise plus i have so many other problems not related to the cps. i checked my main fuse box and all looks well, and now its a bit dark for anything else. any ideas?? thanks in advance guys! beer beer

ok a little update for anyone who wants to know. i let the car sit overnight with the battery off, and when i started it up this morning i had the same problem. car was allready at the "H" (which is now obviously ********), CEL light didnt come on, tach doesnt work, the abs light doesnt either. so im really thinking the computer is dead. anyone else? thanks again guys.
