Well as I am trying to finish up my 96 brake upgrade I noticed that one of my sway bar end links (that the ford dealer serviced a few months ago) was completley off the strut (where it connects). The bottom is well secured, but the top was off. I can't find the bolt anywhere.

Where can I get a bolt that fits??

it seems that everyone but me has a parts car these days :D

If you dont get much response here, try posting a want-to-buy ad in the classifieds thumb

well, how about this:

pull the bolt off of the other side, and take it with you to find a new bolt from a hardware store?

My SHO is in a friends garage all torn apart right now, and I have the endlinks off... but Im 12 miles away frown

OMG I am a effing retard! A NUT..... and yeah my local ford dealer had one.

A better question...

I have it on there pretty tight. Are there any washers that space setween the nut and the end link (on the strut)

EDIT: editited the title for clarity/ me being dumb

Cheater bar! :D

A long section of steel pipe on the end of the wrench helps get some muscle on it.

If the 96 is like the early models, you might have to put a socket on the end of the bolt and use an endwrench on the nut...

If there are threads left under the nut then it isn't fully tightened. On the top you should be able to get an 8 mm wrench to hold the stem. Do not use an impact wrench.
