A quick reference to where i found this before on SHO times website says the link is gone and google isnt giving me what i am looking for nor is the search feature here on this forum. can someone post a working link for procedure on KOEO and KOER tests please..

sorry, but you need to pull codes again. your 93 will only have 3-digit codes, there is no mixing of 2 & 3.

when you put the jumper in place, and turn on the key, the cel will flash very rapidly for a moment. then it will start spitting out current codes (from lowest to highest) and it will repeat those so you see them twice. then there will be a single flash as a separator. then it will spit out the stored codes (from lowest to highest) and it will repeat those.

let us know what you find.

thanks for the reply! I have cleared the codes now and driven it for about 10 min 3 or 4 miles. I came back and now i have

111 code with koeo

536 / 632 on the koer test

111 is system is ok from my research. none of these point to anything related. i didnt press the tranny button i suppose on the goose test (632) and the brake circuit is open as the BPS switch is open at the master cyclinder for (536).

It is down on power and skipping and my MAF voltage seems to be in spec on my multimeter and the IAC OHMS out good also. Plugs and wires 2 years old 15k.. car has about 200k on the clock so i am wondering.. Clogged cats?

thanks for the help guys!

new codes now

ok i drove it some more and have pulled the codes with KOEO and KOER several times to verify i am reading them correctly. I am still only getting 111 in the KOEO test. I did however get some new codes on the KOER test. KOER test results are 411/412 and after the cylinder balance test i got a good number 9. I have viewed all the plugs and they look the same. With my temp gun i got 350 in front of the converter and 190 after. i believe they are at least not doing a great job from what i have read. Is it going to be the IAC with codes 411/412? Any help would be apreciated!

:thankyou::thankyou::thankyou:

536 is operator error during the koer test, not to worry.
632 is not on my list...

411 / 412 suggest that the iac is sticking, as it is complaining that it cannot control idle during the test. 9 on the cylinder balance is what you want.

a sticking iac will cause high idle sometimes, and other times may let the engine die as you approach idle. if that describes the "skipping" you mentioned, then get a new iac. I had one be sticky out of the box, so ask for a good one. ;)

drive the car for several days, then pull codes again, see if anything pops up in the stored codes.
