Ok guys here is the latest. I made it back to NC.
The cats were clogged, and turned cherry when i was down in FL. In order for me to get back, so i can work on it here i cut them out at a friends house and rigged them together with some flexible exhuast piping. It worked decently atleast to get me home. I inspected the cut out cats and they were definitely clogged. I thought it would have ran different without cats but it still ran bad. I know the exhaust had some leaks...

Rough Idle around 4-500rpm. Very very sluggish and has NO power what so ever. Wont even go above 4k rpm, itll shift. Got horrible gas mileage.

BTW im new at reading these OBD1 codes, i wrote down alot of numbers but i will double check it all when i have more time.
217 (M) Primary circuit failure - ignition coil 3 - Ignition Systems
182 (M) Fuel system was rich at idle Single, Right or Rear HO2S - Fuel control
565 (O) Canister Purge 1 solenoid/circuit failure - Solenoids

Just looking for some ideas on what to do. I have another pipe with clogged cats that i havent cut up, but i can properly gut them since i have a welder and everything here to put them back together. Im gonna replace the 02s again since they probably got fried when the cat was clogged.

SHO issues

Hmmm ....

Ignition coil thing sounds promising to fix. Check the plugs, then consider replace the coil w/a spare. O2 sensors is bold idea, relatively easy to do.

BTW, I have a spare y-pipe and exhaust off the 91 that is currently lawn art (in garage), needs a good home, its yours if you want it. Might be able to dig up a spare coil to swap out.

I am about 2.5 hrs from you in chapel hill. also, I think CM (forum member, don't remember his forum name) is really close to you 30 min south on 77 he might have a spare coil I can give you his contact info.

The O2 Sensors are under waranty so i can easily swap those out.

Is it the DIS or the coil pack?

It doesnt feel as if there is a miss or stumbling, it just has NO power what so ever. Im gonna fix the exhuast first and then go from there, im also thinking that some of the catalytic converter may be lodged somewhere else in the exhuast...

Since you said it wont rev over 4K, maybe the fuel filter is clogging or the fuel pump is about to give up the ghost.

Could be that too...
Im gonna wait till i put the good y-pipe in tomorrow before i do anything. Put that in with new O2s and go from there. Im also thinking that part of the cat could be blown out into the rest of the exhaust and clogged up in there. When i cut the original cats out, they were disengrated on the backside and all that stuff had to go somewhere.

Check the flex pipe. The guts from the converters could be clogging that up too. Let me know if they give you any trouble exchanging the 02s. If necessary, I can do that for you here and mail them to you.
