hey hows it goin guys...well the time has come to change the o2 sensors again in my car however i went there and they have 3 different lengths of wire (this is what he said) and i dont want to take out the ypipe and remove them just to check this so i figured i could ask you guys do any of you know? The car that i have is a red <94> sho. I really need these so if you guys could get back to me as soon as possible that would be greatly appreciated. Also i am getting a code about my egt sensor and a few other things such as always on and non grounded fuel pump this is in another post by i believe "pete c" here was my post after i finished pulling the codes:
111 - system checks ok
117 - ECT sensor is/was low or grounded
172 - oxygen sensor not switching - system is or was lean - single right or rar ho2s
176 - oxygen sensor not switching - system is or was lean - left or front ho2s
332 - EGR did not open/respond during test or if memory code did not open intermittantly
452 - vehicle speed sensor (vss) problem
542 - fuel pump open bad ground or always on
543 - fuel pump monitor circuit shows no power (service 556 code first if present) fuel pump relay or battery power feed was open

ok so there is the results can anyone make sence of them for me and let me know what needs to be done for me to correct all this please...thank you i appreciate it

At first glance of your codes, I would say you may not even have bad 02's. Both are reading lean which in all reality could mean your engine is really running lean...aka you have a leak in the intake somewhere letting more air in the engine than that has been metered by the MAF or your fuel pumping isnt providing enough fuel pressure for fuel. Since you got fuel pump codes (the pump isnt turning on...543 code), I would be checking out my fuel pressure at the rails first to make sure I am good there.

just go look, you dont have to take the y pipe off or anything. just unplug the wire and measure it yourself. i just went in and said gimme some o2's and i got ones that worked so i dunno. but yea, id be willing to bet that your o2s are fine. its prob fuel related. can you hear the fuel pump whinning?
