What seems to be the problem? Weren't you using Josh's blower program as a baseline?

Yeah, but it is not working to well with those plugged in. Of course, that was before I fixed the TPS and got the FPR installed. I may just need to go back to his and see how it does.

Its just that I AM IMPATIENT and want this thing to RUN, like it did before all this work (better run harder now)

Another question, as I don't own a Tweecer.... What all can it do? Fuel obviously, ignition?

The TwEECer basically lets you change any parameter of you computer... My guess is the turbo SHO is leaning out on him.... Not staying consistant... etc...

The TwEECer will let you change any portion of the computer's program, provided it knows what to change and where (IOW, the software has to be mapped to modify specific functions). Presently, there is no TwEECer definition file for any EEC strategy that offers complete accessibility to all of the available parameters (this is where SCT has the upper hand). The good news is that "the only constant is change", and these facts will be changing soon for TwEECer users - and not just for the SHO but for all EEC strategies, old and new.

As for the TurboSHO, Tim - hang in there. We'll get 'er knocked out here soon enough. :)

maybe you should have kept it the way you brought it from Jeremy Prine. When you start making all the unneccessary upgrades, you start having the problems.

P.S.

Our is running GREAT!... ask anyone at the SHO meet in winston Salem...

When I bought it from Jeremy it was making 342whp. After my 'unneccessary upgrades' it was making 430whp, had better throttle response, no off-throttle stumbling like before, and it no longer died when I came to a stop sign. But it still left much to be desired. I dumped the Vortech SFMU because it was simply a bandaid that flooded fuel into the engine. My dyno charts nevered showed my A/F because it was below 10:1. I drove it like this for 50k miles, but I knew there was much potential left in this car, and I wanted to tap into it. The Tweecer was essential to do that.

So right now, I idle better, have better tip in, have loads of other imrovements over the old setup, just have not learned all that I need to do with the tweecer to optimize the ability of the car. Anytime you make sweeping changes to a platform, there will be teething issues. Don't worry though, it will all get worked out.

So are you gonna fill us in on what exactly isn't right? I mean you did ask for help! I know there are people who here that will have suggestions.

Tim is currently experiencing intermittent fueling issues as a result of a combination of factors. I am presently helping him to work through all of these issues and him or I one will update everyone when we have something more substantial to report on. ;)

Adam, you a savior man. Yeah like Adam was saying, car stumbles sometimes after a shift. I can WOT through all of third gear, and as soon as I let of the gas it hiccups for a sec. At that exact moment, my CE goes out (it has been on the entire time, but for either my ECT sensor, or the MAF exceeding voltage). Those are the only codes I get anyway.

Other than that, it is a BLAST! I swear, it feels as fast @ 9psi (stock setting of WG it seems) as the old unit did @ 13psi. Can't wait to turn up the boost.

So, in a nutshell, car warms up, settles into the commanded A/F, part throttles good, but sometimes shuts down (and throws the 542 code) after a WOT run. And also get codes 118 and 518 (I think).

Thats a pretty "dick" thing to say and borderline offensive if you ask me.. go knock on members of a different forum instead of tryin to belittle one of the pioneers of ours. Tim has the longest running turbo sho.. period.. has more turbo sho experience then everyone else here. As for u bad mouthing his sho maybe u 2 should meet up for a little highway run sometime and see what the difference unneccessary upgrades have over ur boosted sho. all mods are tech. unneccessary do any of us NEED to mod our cars no.. maybe u should of left the unneccasary mods of your sho and spare the threats.

P.S.

kindly go pound sand.
