HELP maintenance time

hey guys new to the sho scene just bought a red 92+ mtx but have no idea on the history IE whats been done to it I know 2 teenagers owend it before me so im guessing it wasnt babied.
Shes got 276xxx still pulls strong so far ive done the fuel pump with access door new DIS new cam sensor new K&N filter I know its got new brakes up front new CV's but thats as much as I could get out of them ive been slowly collecting my parts to do my 60K which has probably never been done before kinda scary but ok ive got everything to do the top 60 valve cover, sparkplug wells, and intake gaskets, plugs my oil level sensor and my oil pressure sensor and im still trying to get ahold of a shim kit this is where my problem comes in im mechanicaly inclined but im going to need help doing the shims as its my only car and I dont really want to F#&$ it up I live on vancouver Island nanaimo BC if anyone could help me would be greatly appreciated I know alex pointed me towards this site but I cant seem to get ahold of you black 1st gen met you behind the errington general store would love to go for a burn my cell is 250- 618-9631 thanks for your time guys

I know there are a few people up in BC, but I dunno if they can do shims. Supposedly it's pretty easy, but I've never done it before. Worst case scenario (just because of the time), I bet SHOSource can help out. They are in the other Vancouver (WA).
