Help locating sensor

Below and to the right of the thermostat. Look for the two wire connector.

There is a single wire sensor to the left of the thermostat whose sole purpose is to drive the guage in the instrument cluster.

this is were im confused at...

are some years different?

i found mine on the hard line for the heater core.... ???

That's not the ECT. The ECT (two wire) is just to the right of the T-stat where the sensor for the gauge is just to the left (one wire).

The one on the hard line going into the heater core in the dash is for your HVAC system.

ohhhh....

upon further inspection of the known area....




i found that f*****.... :doh: it was hiding from me.... :rant:

for some reason the last time i was looking for it i could NOT find it.... then when i bypassed my heater core hard lines, i found that... and then I ass-u-me-d... that was it... :bonk:

thanks jason.... god i feel ******** now.....
