For those that don't know, I have an extra engine, transmission, one side of suspension, and a subframe in my garage.

I removed the extra suspension, ypipe, and subframe from my old 94 in the garage. Next I'd like to remove the transmission. I'm using one of the large engine to transmission bolts as one of the strap points. My question is where should I bolt the second strap point on the motor that is strong enough to support the weight of the transmission while I remove it. I read a while back that someone used the head bolt where a manifold to head bracket bolt goes. There is a good bolt on the back of the motor, but it is on the same side of where I have the first strap point on the obvious hook thing. What should I do?

There was a bracket that had some pretty beefy bolts on the back of one of the heads. I've got it all seperate now, and can return the cherry picker. I'll probably still buy a video from shonut, but I feel more comfortable knowing that I just dropped a subframe and transmission. The next step is cracking open the transmission. I'll probably save that for when I have the quaife on order.

I took some pictures as I was taking everything apart. They can be found at http://compaq.skyline.net/~hayden/sho/blue_sho/

The front with the subframe and tranny still attached

From the side with everything still attached

The front left of my subframe. This hit the jersey wall. I don't think it can be repaired.

Upon further inspection, this engine is huge! Enjoy the pics.
