Whats the best way to change the coolant on my 92 SHO? Has anyone done this before? SHOTimes wasn't much help in this area, I know there is a drain thing at the bottom left of the radiator but I hear theres another one that needs to be opened that's somewhere else to get all the old coolant out. Anyone?

Luke I usually just pull the lower hose off. It seems to be the easiest way to go about it. That should get it all out too. Just make sure you bleed it and get all the air out. I got Wed & Thurs off if you want some help. Let me know.

You will leave almost all the old coolant in the block unless the 2 14mm brass plugs are removed. Front one is next to the oil filter, rear is in plain view. Sorry, you ATX guys may have trouble getting at the rear one. For the MTX the rear is a piece of cake. Hint, it will come out much faster if you keep your mouth open while straining to break the plug loose!!!! Or so I have heard.

It's probably much easier to just do several drain and fills with water. The last fill before the last drain should be with at least filtered water if not cleaner. You can only drain about half of the coolant out through the radiator petcock or the lower radiator hose.
