HELP!! Blazer fogs installation

I need some help with the mounting of the blazer foglights. ASAP!

Dont know what year you have but with my 94, I removed the mounting brackets that the stock fogs mounted to.

From there, the Blazer bracker fit right up into the metal support of something. The lights sit back in the bumper just like stock.

They look great too ... All I gotta do now is align them properly ... aarrgghhhh!!! still working on that part.

The round hole in the bracket behind the front facia must be ground out to allow the rear of the light to fit.

I got them in. I think that they are pointed straight up, but, they are in. Does anyone have any ideas on how to properly align them?

Yeah...I've been wondering the same thing!! Mine are in but they are pointed way too high...I've gotten a LOT of high beams flashed at me because of them, even from 18-wheelers!! haha! so I know they're definitely too high...but I don't know how to align them any better.

could it have something to do with what Scott was saying about grinding out the whole in the bracket? I remember having to do that to install them, but I'm wondering if maybe it needs to be grinded out more to be aligned better. any ideas? (I used a Dremel before and could get to it again if necessary...but I wanna know if it will make a difference or not before I go through all that hassle.) thanks guys.

well to properly align mine, I ground out the top of the stock opening to allow the angle of the fog lamp to turn down. I used a grinder with a drill at SDPATTS house and a WHOLE lot of elbow grease. Then you will alleviate the angle problem. The bracket is made out of iron, so you may have to grind on it a while...good luck..
