I'm the proud new owner of a beautiful 2010 Lincoln MKS AWD EcoBoost Ultimate!

70K miles, one owner, no accidents, regularly serviced at the dealer it was sold from and then traded in at... aside from some little dings on the outside, it's absolutely, completely mint.

Yes, obviously this is not strictly a SHO, but underneath the fancy cladding, it's pretty much the same car.

I'm here to learn how to improve my car from a reliability and performance standpoint. I'm not doing anything crazy with it, just grabbing some low hanging horsepower :)

My current plans for the car are:

0. Replace all the oils with Redline, fluids, etc.

1. Methanol/water injection system (gotta lower those temps and wash those valves)

2. Basic tune w/ standard bolt-ons

3. Oil catch can

4. Get summer tires / wheels (was looking at some ESR CS3s in Hyper Silver)

Congrats on the purchase, and welcome to the group! The MKS is a great car, the performance of a SHO with the classiness of a Lincoln. Only thing it was missing is the mini fridge from the Flex. haha

We actually have several packages available to help new owners get the most bang for their buck and help the engine and drivetrain live on to 100k+ miles:

Maintenance Package for Fluid Changes, new Sensors, etc:

Ecoboost Starter Pack for Tuning Performance:

AEM V3 Methanol Injection Kit:

UPR Dual Valve Catch Can:

These are of course just some of our favorite brands, there are a lot of different options out there that you can utilize, and everyone will have their own opinion on what they like best.

For tires, I personally run General GMax RS 275/40/20s, they are made by Continental and work great in the summer while still having good wet traction for the rainy months. Those wheels will look slick against the white too!

Let me know if you have any questions, I'm here to help.
