Scott from CT, I have a green 93 mtx currently needing some worked after minor impact, and breaking the boss for the shift rod. Looking in a 2nd SHO atm to commute. I'm impressed by how helpful and intelligent the community is and look forward to learn and share more. Thanks guys.

Scott, think I looked over and test drove that car a couple years ago.

I have a front subframe coming off a 95 MTX in mid June, car had never been driven in salt. Does have very light surface rust in places but otherwise in great shape. Also have low mileage tension struts listed in my for sale add, plus am in CT

Whats up man? I'm guessing the white one I'm considering ? North haven , durham, or Wallingford are my known homes of it between the 2 CT owners. I may have someone with a subframe. I keep getting mixed opinions on buying it, but my heart kinda says 1 year min for a grand isn't bad. .

Thanks for replying.

The guy in Durham (where I saw it) had bought it off of Ebay from NC. He took it to car shows in summers and left it outside under a car cover in winters. Check the pinch welds, even with that it would make a good driver/winter car at least when I saw it. The NC owner was a member here and there are threads about the car (orignainlly from Illinios IIRC)

Then that's her, pinch welds are ok, have been used to lift it seems. Rear control arms are good looking the box tjey mount is good, front around radiator supports are bit rusty, where rear "strut rods " bolt , close to the pinch welds. Bit rusty, engine bay has some little surface rist spots, it isn't much worse than my 93 I paid 400 for at 132k. (2nd owner since 77k family friend sho lover ,got a 2010) .. well, I guess once I get a second set of eyes, I might get her. . I just can't tie up a lift for more than 24 hours. God forbid a subframe job had obstacles. .. i would get gen 3 bushings.

Thanks once again

It has a new sho source catback BTW
