Just did a 60k on my car and now it drops this nice little suprise on me... Anyways I want to try some barrs stop leak first. Here is my question. I know you can bypass the heater core so I was wondering if there would be a way to only run the stop leak though the heatercore by isolating it somehow to keep that crap from clogging up my brand new radiator and waterpump.

I don't believe you can. Why do you believe it's not good for the radiator or pump? Another fools tale! It may not look pretty but it's no harm for either. Just don't be using more than they recommend-if you have to keep adding some then you will have to fix it the hard way.

well even though I could not see any leakage to the fire wall I figured I would try tightening them just to see if it would do anything. It didn't... So then I took the clamps off and discovered that one of the clamps was jammed and was acting like it was tightened all the way when it really wasn't I fixed it up and problem solved!!!!

Stop leak is the DEVIL!!

Glad you got it figured out. Replacing the heater core is not my favorite thing to do on a Taurus.
