Does anyone know where one can get new headlight assembly clips at?? I cannot find them anywhere?????!!!!! :thankyou:

I got mine at Car quest out of the dorman drawer think they were 58 cents apiece.If you buy the 3 pack they are $4.00 !!! go figure. Or stop by a paint n body shop

Ok ill check into that. guess i figured they would be hard to find like all other parts. Are the clips taurus specific? ive never peeked under a normal taurus hood. :thankyou:

the clips the go behind the headlight panel to hold the headlights in at the same on the gen 2 models sho or non and the sables not sure about the other i have a bout 20 i pull when i go to the junkyard as long as they dont break they dont charge for um

Got mine from autozone dorman part number like 4192 i think. Its labeled as a headlight retaining clip for 1984 and up fords. They sometimes carry them in-stock, otherwise have to look through their little dorman catalog. 4 bucks for 2, you need 6. If they have them in stock its in their "HELP!" section or whatever they call it.
