There are a few products out there that I have heard work well, i was just wondering what those were again, and preferably the one that wokrs the best for the least amount of money :D Also, is there a way to clean out the inside of your headlights ?? Mine are dirty and have some good condesation built up in them. I can get the water out, but how about the dirt ?

Thanks in Advance

Get some wet sand paper in 1000 and 2000 grit. Walmart has it as well as some auto stores. Use the 1000 then the 2000 and then use some rubbing compound followed by polish. That helped my lights alot (along with the PIAA platinum super whites). They won't ever be fully clear but it makes a large difference.

Instead of sandpaper, I used 3M Plastic cleaner and polisher. They come in separate bottles. I bought mine at a local autoparts store for about $6 each. It works great with very little effort. As for the moisture inside your headlights, I am not so sure on how to evaporate the water. Perhaps someone else has a better idea.

Good Luck.

Used my buddy's Dremel grinder. It attaches to a compressor I think. Just picked up a small buffing wheel and some polishing compound. Works awesome. Took the layer of haze right off. thumbs_u

I sanded and then used the cleaner and polish. I had tried just the cleaner and polish before but sanding it was much more effective.

there is g uy on here who has used NuLite and he says it works awesome. it hink it is like 20$. i have heard of people using stuff they use on airplanes to help take the yellow off the lights. i personally have used acrylic cleaner from home depot liek 4$ a can and it lasts a while. it is in a pink can or pink pourable can and i spray on, let it foam and buff it off. works pretty good. i usually do a few applications. tons of yellow stuff to comes off. but remember a lot of the stuff is on the inside of your lenses from dirt/dust entering the housing and makign itself a nice home. people have taken the headlights apart to do it with some success and a lot of scrubbing. i has used rubbing alcohol and swished it around and it worked somewhat but a lot of elbow grease is needed, but since i didn't take the light apart it didn't work as well as it should. you guys ever notice how well the fishtank lights look compared to the rest of the headlights?

To get the condensation out use a hair dryer or a heat gun (very carefully). Make sure the moisture has a way to escape...

What about getting all the dust out that has accumulated in there ? I was thinking alcohol, but I am not sure if that would totally clean it, just by itself

i tried the rubbing alcohol and it worked somewhat but they are still yellowish. they say the best way is actually dissasemble the entire headlight assembly by taking the entire thing apart, but resealing it the way it was intended may be difficult.

do a search on here for NuLite, jcostantino (sp?) posted a link. it was for sale on a mustang site, but mainly used for the outside of the lights not the inside
