Hmm just got out of work,i drove home as i was trying to find a parking spot i heard something that sounded like rod knock..I popped my hood and as i put my ear close to the engine to hear for any knocking it wasn't knocking but i was hit in the face with straight exhaust air, what do you guys think happend?

My guess is that something happend with the exhaust manifold

It's raining and i can't crawl under the car as of right now..She'll be going to the mechanic first thing in the morning..

Maybe just a weld that failed on one runner which is prolly why you had the pulsating impression that it was a knock.

Do you have real headers? If so, did you use the metal exhaust manifold gaskets or cut your own out? Just wondering if it's the gasket that gave up.

If not, check out your oxygen sensor. I had that same popping and slight poor performance before I was advised to check my sensor when I was at the track with the DFW crew. It was loose and hanging in there for dear life.

No i have stock headers, just had the entire exhuast done (SHO Source) catback, ypipe etc...I popped the hood today and didnt hear any of the noises or feel any exhaust..And the exhaust isn't coming over the runners it was coming infront of the engine sort of by the rad.

I'm taking her off the road for the entire week and going to go out to L.I to have all my problems fixed by a SHO Fourm member (Andrew 94SHOTIME) great guy and good work, knows the SHO like the back of his hand lol

Thanks for the responses

Bryan
