Has anyone ran 18x8.5 rims?

I saw these on a BMW about a month ago and have been searching for them ever since. Found 'em.... Smallest size they come in is 18x8.5"

Not sure yet if they offer the right bolt pattern or what the offset is. I'll find out Monday when they open.

Just wanted to see what you guys think... They would go on a 93 MTX, with Eibachs and Tokicos.

Dirtydog5

Was looking to put 235/50/18's on them, maybe 45's.

UPDATE----

Found out they are the wrong bolt pattern. Looks like its time to order the R41's.

Thanks,

I would almost bet they dont have them in the right bolt pattern or offset. But 8.5" is going to be a little wide anyways, and 235 is definetly too narrow for a 8.5" rim.

Nah, there are a lot of cars running 235 (and even narrower) on 8.5 (even 9) rims. Most SHO owners are used to running too wide of tires on their rims, since 225/55 is a popular upgrade for the stock 16x6's.

This is true.

Although 8.5" Wheels are TOO wide. You would have to make some modifications in order to roll on those.

And as stated before, I doubt they're available in our "popular" bolt pattern ;)

Widest I would run is 8". I am currently on 7.5s

With the right offset and maybe some minor modification, they'd probably fit. The problem is going to be getting them in the correct lug pattern.

x2 on what Toolman said.
